Teesside Lions enjoyed a big win over their local rivals TV Mohawks in front of more than 720 fans at Eston Arena. The 660 Lions fans enjoyed a carnival atmosphere as the team under Great Britain Coach Marc

Steutel earned a 19pt victory to develop a 2pt lead at the top of the table.

VIP guests included Redcar & Cleveland Mayor Cllr Carole Morgan, Cleveland Police & Crime Commissioner Steve Turner, Wilton Engineering CEO Bill Scott MBE (who is a former basketball player) Bede College Principal Ben Robinson, former managing director of The Economist Anna Rawling and more.

Also present were key sponsors JSC Electrics, Concept IT and Ryze.
