Lions To Face Wolverhampton Wolves This Sunday
Teesside Lions are officially the Champions of National League Division Three North following the disappointing decision from Sheffield Elite II not to travel to Teesside for the final league game of the season.
The Lions finished with a 2pt lead over local rivals Tees Valley Mohawks and will earn promotion to Division Two.
Prior to the celebrations will be the league playoffs which will stage the best 14 teams across the country against each other in a seeded format for which Teesside as league winner with fifth best win % have drawn London Thunder as league runner up with fifth best win %.
Teesside will be sweating on the return of Ross Wilson following his ankle injury against Newcastle three weeks ago. Wilson has been one of the star performers this season and will give the team a very welcome boost with his presence.
Other than this Coach Steutel will have a full squad to select from.
Tickets available now via www.TeessideLions.com at just £6.50 adult, £4.50 u18/OAP and £16 for a family of four.
